Barcelona · Costa Brava · Pyrenees · Tarragona · Girona
Aerial unit based in Catalonia for feature films, series, commercials and documentary. UAS pilot, camera operator and DIT on set, with AESA and ENAIRE permits sorted. Alex Viñals, co-founder, is Catalan: we work in Catalan, Spanish or English.
Within a two-hour radius, Catalonia offers almost any location a script calls for: Barcelona, Costa Brava coves, high mountains, vineyards, the delta and medieval villages. We know the areas, their permits and their airspace restrictions.
Eixample, Gòtic, Diagonal, the seafront and Montjuïc. Restricted airspace over much of the centre: we handle the AESA and City Council permits, with a lead time of about three weeks.
Coves, cliffs and coastal villages such as Cadaqués, Begur or Tossa. Cap de Creus and Montgrí are natural parks: environmental authorisation on top of the aviation one.
Val d'Aran, Cerdanya, Boí Taüll, Aigüestortes and Montsec. Skiing, mountains and adventure, with a cold-weather battery protocol. Park authorisation in protected areas.
The delta, rice fields, the Costa Daurada and Roman Tarragona. Coordination around Reus airport.
Wineries, terraced vineyards and modernist cava architecture. Footage for wine brands, wine tourism and appellation (DO) campaigns.
Girona, Besalú, Pals, Peratallada and inland Empordà. Frequent locations for series and international commercials, with straightforward municipal permits.
We join your production as its aerial unit, whether it is a Catalan production or comes to Catalonia through a production service or the Film Commission.
We mark the aerial shots, suggest which platform should handle each one and estimate the shoot days. References or a storyboard help.
Location, light by the hour and flight paths. We handle AESA, ENAIRE coordination around El Prat, Girona, Reus and Sabadell airports, Barcelona City Council and natural park authorisations.
Pilot, camera operator and DIT on set. Radios with the director and the ground unit; the director sees the aerial feed on their monitor. We work in Catalan, Spanish or English.
8K ProRes RAW from the Inspire 3 and 6K RAW R3D from the FPV, with LUTs and verified copies. The footage goes straight into the post-production pipeline.
Automotive, action sports, landscape and film unit work, shot by our crew with the Inspire 3 and FPV. With every credential needed to fly on a professional set:
Yes. UAS operator registered with AESA, pilots with EASA A1/A3, A2 certificates and standard scenarios STS-ES-01/02, radio operators and aviation liability insurance. We send the certificates together with the quote.
We have our own base in Catalonia: Alex Viñals, co-founder and camera operator, is Catalan and lives here. Barcelona, the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees are covered within the day. For large shoots, the Murcia crew joins in.
Central Barcelona and the area around El Prat, the Girona, Reus and Sabadell airports, and natural parks such as Cap de Creus, Montgrí, Montseny or Aigüestortes, which require environmental authorisation. Everything can be flown with the right paperwork and enough lead time.
The day includes aircraft, pilot, camera operator, batteries and DIT; permits are quoted by location type. We send the 2026 rate card with the quote, on request.
Yes. With the Mavic 3 Cine or a second Inspire 3, coordinated with the DP and the main unit, to cover two locations or two aerial cameras on the same day.
An aerial unit day plus permits; from our Catalan base, Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona and the Pyrenees are day shoots with no hotel. The 2026 rate card is sent with the quote.
Yes, all of Catalonia within the day from our base, and Andorra or the French Pyrenees with the necessary prior coordination.
