Barcelona and the Catalonia
that sells abroad.

Catalonia has three brand assets with international pull: Barcelona's architecture, the Pyrenean landscape and the Costa Brava. We cover all three from our Catalan base without long travel. Our head office is in Murcia; the Catalonia base is our gateway to Barcelona, the coast and the Pyrenees.

FAQ

What a Catalan
production company asks.

What does it cost to get from your base to Barcelona?add

1h 30min by car from our Catalan base. For Barcelona days we leave at dawn and return at night. Travel is counted in crew hours, not fuel. If the day runs over 8 hours, factor in per diems.

Can you fly a drone over the Sagrada Família?add

Only with a specific permit from the basilica's management + City Council + AESA + NOTAM. It is the most restrictive monument in Barcelona. Realistic timeline: 4–6 weeks, approval not guaranteed.

Are you registered as a company in Barcelona?add

Yes, registered as an AESA operator and as a business. Invoicing in Catalonia is no problem. Alex Viñals, co-founder and camera operator, is Catalan and based in Catalonia.

Do you cover the whole metropolitan area?add

Yes. Hospitalet, Badalona, Sabadell, Terrassa, Mataró. Each municipality handles its own permit but the mechanics are the same. We coordinate it as part of the service.

How much does a drone cost for a commercial in Barcelona?add

An aerial-unit day plus the urban permits (AESA, City Council and, in controlled airspace, ENAIRE). No long travel: our Catalan base is an hour and a half away.

Can you fly a drone at Montjuïc, Tibidabo or the Barceloneta beach?add

Yes, with municipal and AESA permits; much of Barcelona is restricted airspace and some areas also need ENAIRE coordination. Allow about three weeks.
