Who we are

Pilot and camera for your shoot

Francisco Zamora and Alex Viñals are the Skyset Cinema aerial unit. We combine drone piloting, camera operation and colour workflow for film, advertising and documentary.

Flight and camera,
working together.

On Inspire shoots, Francisco pilots the aircraft while Alex operates the camera and gimbal. We coordinate flight paths and framing with the director to build each shot.

If the project calls for it, we sit down with the DP or the technical director during the recce to close out the day before getting on set.

He flies the aircraft on set, plots the flight paths with the director and runs the operational side of each shoot day: permits, airspace, flight planning and on-set safety. Field experience in automotive and action sports, where flight precision and timing with the vehicle separate a good take from a usable one. Flying drones since 2017.

Operator

Alex Viñals

Camera operator · Cinematographer · Colourist · Co-founder

He runs the camera during flight and composes the shot in real time with the DP on the monitor. Cinematographer and colourist, he closes the colour workflow end to end: on-set LUTs and final grade. He manages the on-set DIT: offload, verification and backups. Before specialising in aerial camera he spent several years in audiovisual production. Flying drones since 2017.
