Yachts 路 Regattas 路 Charter 路 Brokers
Aerial filming of yachts, regattas and marine experiences. Footage for brokers, charter and brands, with flight paths and camera coordinated with the vessel.
A yacht over 30 metres is sold, chartered or promoted with visual material of a certain standard. Aerial is the only way to show it in full, underway, with the coast in the background. Photography from another boat doesn't give the same result.
Footage for premium brokers. The yacht in port, underway, and detail shots with a coordinated ground camera.
Promotional video for charter yachts: the experience on board, anchoring in coves, water sports. Footage that justifies the charter price.
Live or edited regatta coverage: Copa del Rey, local regattas, owners' events. Coordination with the judges' boat and the sailors.
Launch, delivery, first outing after a refit. Institutional footage for the shipyard and for the owner. Coordination with the dry dock and the port.
Aerial coverage of boat shows for exhibitors. We plan the shots and delivery deadlines with the organiser.
Brand commercials for boat builders, marine equipment or nautical tourism. Production coordinated with the production company and the agency.
Flying a drone over water requires specific protocols: wind, salinity, GPS, communication with the yacht and a landing plan in case of an emergency. We work with this in mind from the first briefing.
Navigation route, anchoring points, ideal time for light. If we're filming from the yacht itself, we coordinate a safe take-off/landing area.
Over water plus port areas usually requires coordination with the Harbour Master's Office. We handle both permits as part of the service.
Take-off and landing protocol on deck or a support vessel, a contingency plan for GPS loss and equipment cleaning after every day: salinity is hard on electronics and we treat it as part of the shoot.
Automotive, action sports, landscape and film unit work, shot by our crew with the Inspire 3 and FPV. With every credential needed to fly on a professional set:
It depends. For large yachts (40m+) we can take off from the yacht itself. For smaller boats or regattas, we need a RIB or support launch. We coordinate this at the briefing.
According to DJI, the Inspire 3 withstands up to 12 m/s of wind on take-off and landing and 14 m/s in flight. At sea, apparent wind is higher than real wind because of the yacht's speed. Our safe operating limit is 20 km/h of real wind with the yacht stationary.
Yes. We arrange the crew's travel according to the destination and dates. For longer productions (regattas, boat shows) we plan the whole stay. ATA Carnet if you're bringing gear from outside the EU.
No problem. The filming takes place in Spanish waters/ports, so the Spanish AESA permit applies. The yacht's flag only matters for the captain and the owner's paperwork.
One day with Inspire 3, a pilot and an operator, plus a support vessel if the yacht doesn't allow take-off from the deck, and the harbour authority permits. We confirm it with the length, the port and the dates.
We review the airspace, port activity and take-off points. We coordinate authorisations and each port's conditions with production.
